and didn't they try to charge her with attempting to run over the police? pretty sure that's a hardcore crime, like go to prison for many years type of crime....

and this is after they tried to destroy the video evidence as well???

Yes IMO she was just on a fishing expedition and got a bite.

The cops were not beating anyone. She should have moved along when told to do so.

I walk the streets all the time, often times passing by cops. Never been harassed once. But I don't act like an idiot around them either. I don't do everything I can to provoke a reaction from them. And I don't break the law.

I actually feel safer when there is a police presence, especially walking in urban areas. When they aren't around... well thats when I feel my safety is endangered.

Tell you what: you act like the above, and then let me know when a cop harasses you. Then we will talk...

I feel the opposite. I mean look at the situation in Times Square NYC where the police fired recklessly in a crowded area hitting innocent bystanders in the process. Police protection, no thanks.
