My first time through (before I dropped out) I majored in pussy and beer. I would recommend minoring in that instead of a major. :)

Too many college threads... I can't believe you are still undecided in this point of your life.
Make your own decisions, do what you are passionate for. Good to know these are the people I'll be managing... my future peons who can't make a single decision.

danny~!

Actually this was more of a parody thread. I'm starting college for the third time, and it's more of a working adult oriented class schedule, twice a week. I'm majoring in Computer Information Systems...and I'm wondering if I'll even have a job when I get my degree in four or five years.

At the rate of companies outsourcing...I just don't know. :(

I haven't found a job in over a year and I have a BS degree in similar major, Business Information Systems.

you can do all of the above in your poll without going to college.

The flip side of that is I graduated in May and am starting a job on Sept. 12.

Nonetheless, IT is a dying field and it's only going to get worse.

Well, I can't disagree with you too much there. It makes me glad I got into management and will be the one doing the outsourcing and not the one getting outsourced.
