I need a gift for my grandmother and kind of hit a pickle...

I was going to get her this combination package of fragrances + plus a gift card, but I was unable to find the fragrances, they were sold out in three Macy's stores.

I don't want to only get her a big gift card, too basic

Clothes, I don't know what to get her, I asked my mom for advice and she couldn't even help me. If she can?t understand her mother's style then how can I?

Electronics are not her thing and she doesn?t like cooking so can?t get her any of that stuff.

Anyone have advice? What are you getting your grandmother?

Edit: also, i know its kind of late for xmas shopping, but between work and school, i have not had much time. Finally almost done this week.

What about take her out for a dinner or something? Take her to a show, or give her tickets?

Tried that last year, didnt work out.
Bought tickets for the rockets in advance, like a month and she got sick that week.

How old is she? When I think of a grandmother I think quite old, but some of you guys are so young that she might not fit any of my ideas.

Nice pair of Isotoner leather gloves with cashmere lining. They're very warm (older - poor circulation) and the leather helps with gripping things wheras knit gloves are a problem for older people with maybe arthritis etc. They're normally $48, but on sale at most places now. I got a pair for an older lady yesterday at 40% off at JC Penney.
