Yet Again, I'm singled out. Why?

A mod today changed my FROM location by adding spaces. I changed it back to how I had it, then... I get this PM from the mod:

You know the location listing in your profile screws up the forum display. Earlier today, I took the time to put spaces in it to correct the problem. Then you turned around and did it again.

Here's a clue. Screw it up again, and you will be looking for another forum to post on.

I was a bit shocked that the MOD couldn't of messaged me to change it, funny though that there are NO reasons why I had to have spaces, if you wanted spaces, then why not program it to force spaces? Seeing it doesn't force me, then I don't see why I was singled out by the Mod.

The way I see it, the Mod just doesn't like me and was unfair in sending me that PM. Ahhhh to be singled out at AT, doesn't surprise me.

It is funny how LORDMAUL has NO spaces in his "from" field, why is he allowed to do it and I'm not? It does screw up the forum display as well. oh yeah, I should mention that he claims Anand is his friend. Quote LordMaul: "Certainly not! Anand is my buddy!"

Anyhow... It's nice to know that the Mod took his time to threathen my existance here and to overlook Anand's buddy LordMaul.

Last time I was singled out is because I was accused of neffing with my Impossible Question #41 or #42 thread. Amazing that the mods let my first 40+ impossible questions go unnoticed. After I asked about the locking of my thread, the mods seem to of back peddled in their reasons for locking my thread and changed it to me addressing an issue that involved a temporary banned member. Neither of the Mod's excuses had substance, the Mods were just acting on emotions that day. Childish to say the least. It's poor modding that makes this place a bad experience.

I think it's childish if you use no spaces in your from field. Why not provide the real city or state? Sheesh.

fallenoncrack: I think you're overreacting. To be singled out, you'd have to be constantly and consistently harrassed by the mods for the tiniest of reasons. This is not the case. Your from location was quite annoying and did need to be fixed. The mod was nice enough to do it for you and then you changed it back when you knew you shouldn't?! I'm sorry, but that was just flagrantly asking for trouble. As for LordMaul's from location, I hadn't noticed it, so it's quite possible that the mods hadn't either. Yours, on the other hand, I had noticed. No matter who does it, it's disruptive and quite anoying. I'm sure LordMaul's will be looked into and changed if needed.

I just checked LordMaul's from line. It's nowhere near as disruptive as yours was, though it should be changed because it does stick out slightly. To compare yours to his, though, is like comparing Pinnochio before a lie and then again after several.

Relax, the mods are *not* out to get you.

How long did yours go unchallenged?

Are the mods pming you daily with harrassing little notes? Emailing perhaps? You're not being singled out any more than is any other user who breaks a rule. It's not the big deal you're making it out to be. It's just a from line. It's not a life or death struggle, it's not cosmic in nature, it's just a from line. Got it?
