Went to Jack in the Box yesterday. I ordered my favorite dish there - 6 tacos, no lettuce, and a large diet coke. The price was more than I'm used to paying, and it turns out, the tacos are no longer 2 for 99 cents, but now 2 for 1.19. Dayam, thats a 20% increase!
But I must say, how long has Jacks had 2 tacos for 99 cents? Since the early 90s at least. Maybe the 80s? To think that Jacks could keep it the same price for so long is amazing given the vast inflation since way back when. Jack might be the best fast food CEO of all time!
