I still don't get it :confused:, why do people replace the o with a p on the word own?

hyow can you have 6000+ posts and still be such a n00b?!

you = hopeless

me = spent a large majority of my time in the DC and Hot Deals forums, I waited for around 4000 posts to get the juevos to venture into the OT forums :p

Blame that on people who cannot spell, and unfortunately it caught on.

Thanks, I appreciate a real answer instead of an attack at my lack of knowledge, I'm sure I'm not the only one who didn't know it, I'm just the one that didn't know it who asked.

IIRC, some kid in IRC spelt it wrong, and it just caught on :)

pwn is a common typo that became "cool." (The P and O keys are right next to each other) Much like teh.

Why the fsck typos are cool still eludes me, but that's where it came from.
