I know some of you guys are like, man that is nothing!! But I'm excited because this is my first OC and first build.

As the sig says Opteron 165 @ 2.5Ghz (9X278) HSF and Stock Volts (actually 1.33V because my MOBO undervolts a little) with G.Skill Extreme @ 250 with standard 3-4-4-8 timings and a .9 divider. Prime 95 Stable 8 Hours :)

Originally the G.Skill was defaulting to different timings which was messing with my OC.

My temps are ok, except the HD and PWMIC which seem high, although someone told me the HD I have tends to have a problem with the temp sensor.

My idle temps are:

CPU 30
PWMIC 45
NF4 44
HD 50

Load:
CPU 46
PWMIC 57
NF4 49
HD 54

Any suggestions/comments about the temps or OC, seems like I should try and bring down the PWMIC at least?

Also, does undervolting hurt or help your CPU's lifespan?

So this basically means my $300 chip is out performing the $600 AMD X2 4800+ right ;) ?

Cool, welcome to the OC world! Looks like you got a good start. Careful with some temp sensors, in my experience some work, some don't. If you start having lock-ups or blue screens, be sure to down clock immediately.

Undervolting is definitely common for those trying to increase a CPU's lifespan. I'm not sure how much it will increase it or whether it's truly worth it. Most processors(even overclocked) IMO will last you until your next needed upgrade. If you are talking about undervolting and OC'ing at the same time. Don't think that will work. In many cases you need to give the CPU a little more power to the higher overclocks.

Other than that, cool setup!
