Most of the good shows they have are imported. Some of the comedy lineup is good (Family Guy, Boondocks, few others), but most of it's retarded. Squidbillies, for example. Does anybody actually watch that shit?

Even Squidbillies? I liked it better when it was called Aqua Teen Hunger Force. :D

It's not so much that I hate the shows, but I can only handle so much of that type of comedy. I thought they had a good balance with anime thrown in there as well, but if they're just going to show ATHF ripoffs all night long I'd think things would get a bit old.

Adult Swim was good before people knew about it Then they started getting crappy shows like Robot Chicken, and airing any random anime they could get their hands on. Adult Swim, we will always have DBZ, Sealab, and ATHF.

They still have anime. Anime is here to stay. I highly doubt they are going to do away with it anytime soon. They've still got plenty of new stuff to show. And more on the way.

I stopped watching Adult swim regularly quite awhile ago & in fact the only time I ever tune in is for the occasional round of Anime.

I still show anime in the schedule for adult swim for the next few weeks. I highly doubt that they'll be getting rid of it anytime soon. And frankly some of the shows they've added are downright retarded. Personally I like most of the anime that they have especially GITS 2nd Gig and Bleach.

I actually enjoy watching anime, but when they dub it to English they always get some low budget voice actors, and they never really do the shows any justice.

I recently broke up with my girlfriend who had cable, so it's been a couple months since I saw Adult Swim, but I enjoyed Robot Chicken. And I never enjoyed ATHF (except when they put up the Mooninite Light Bright sets and Boston thought it was a bomb and shut down the whole city; I like ATHF on principle just for that).

Adult Swim hasn't been good, save for the odd series here and there, for years now. AHTF was only good in the first two seasons, then it started getting more and more creepy, just for the sake of being creepy. SeaLab was awesome, but alas is gone. Space Ghost C2C was awesome, Harvey Birdman was great, also gone. Venture Bros, and Robot Chicken (sometimes) are all they have thats funny anymore, outside of Family Guy and that's not even really theirs.

I can't stand most of their original stuff. Squidbillies is just the most retarded peice of crap that's ever been put on television. 40 Oz Rat wasn't much better. Frisky Dingo trys too hard to be funny to actually be funny.

Anime wise, the only show I like that they're currently showing is Samurai Champloo, and I haven't watched more than 2 episodes on Adult Swim because I can't stand dubbed anime.

You do know that Frisky Dingo is done with a lot of the same people from Sealab, right? Its ok, the first season wasn't that good, it was hit and miss, but the second one was better, and the third is decent. Squidbillies is another show that wasn't good initially (I actually hated it too), but it is consistently funny now (I think its similar to Aqua Teen as the early ones really were not very good). Venture Bros. was great the first season, fell off early in the second but then became good again and is decent most of the time. Metalocalypse was great the first season and has been hit and miss after that. Robot Chicken can be funny, but a lot of the novelty has worn off. Lucy, Daughter of the Devil is hit and miss (some episodes are hilarious, like when the Devil and his dildo factory). 12oz Mouse I never found funny, and that new one that's done with PS2 in game quality of graphics is just awful (the one where the guy walks around with the satyr legs and snake for an arm). Anything to do with Tim and Eric is offensively bad (HTF did those two convince anybody to pay them money for anything I've seen them do is beyond me). The Boondocks is too stuck on being focused about "taboo" stuff, only the show isn't funny.

I'm biased against anime, so I won't really say much on that. There's been only maybe one or two shows that had a visual style that I found appealing, but they suffer from the same inherent qualities that I dislike in 99% of anime.
