I posted a listing on the U of M Marketplace (a classified listing service for UM students and staff only - you have to authenticate in order to gain access) for my Minolta STsi SLR camera (pic here) about two weeks ago. I got the camera during my senior year in high school because I was the editor/chief photographer for my school paper, and I need a camera for high-quality sports shots. However, I haven't been using it much lately (I used it for the first time in about a year this past July, when I went to the beach). I've decided to casually start shopping for a digital camera, but the specs and recommendations and reviews are very confusing, so I'm going to wade through them little by little, and hopefully make a decision when the technology gets a bit cheaper (and better).
Anyway, I got a response to my ad from someone who I used to know from the dorms - his girlfriend is a photography student at a school in Canada, and she's going to buy my camera today. We're meeting tonight, and I'll be that much richer by the end of today!
Congratulate me.
