and for those who might not know when atdi (at the drive in) broke up, the members formed 2 bands: sparta and mars volta


won't go into the details. but I've been going to concerts for several yrs now and I already know this will be the best concert of my life.

Saw them last November in SF... Cedric's mic broke so he just shouted over the PA. You could actually hear him. He then swung the the broken mic and hit the cymbals on time.
 
i think they're pretty good....


but i think sparta is better, or at the very least easier to listen to

that guy yells just way too much lol
 
i've seen them. ::shrugs shoulders::
i could deal their pretensions if they were actually really good. thursday blows them away.
