yes...I'm finally getting broadband

The 'friendly' Comcast representative will be here between 1 pm. and 5 p.m. to install Comcast High Speed Cable Internet. My job for the day is to get a simple home network going (2 PCs - one XP, one 95). The XP PC is a 933MHz PentiumIII w/256MB, 75GB. The 95 PC will be strictly surfing and wordprocessing, since it's 166MHz, 32MB, 3.2GB HDD. Hey, as long as I can go on ATOT and talk to my friends on AIM, 166MHz is fine w/me.

Aren't you all so excited?????

P.S. I'll be using a Belkin Cable/DSL router - anyone had any experience w/it? It's only 59.95 at OfficeMax 'till tomorrow.

I called Insight for my cable modem access on March 20th (Somewhere around there) and they told me the earliest they could be out is May 9th. Man, they must be raking in money if it takes that long to get out to install cable. That's a huge waiting list!

Congrats. If you've never had broadband, it's a huge change.
