man, this rocks! It took me a couple of hours to do it, but I finally got it done. My family's WinME machine is acting as the server, and my Win2K machine is the client. The file sharing software didn't really like Win2k, but I finally got it to work :)!!!!!!

cool, what nics are u using? the netgear ones, linksys, or intel? I tried the hpna on my first line and it never could work because my lines exceeded 1000ft, but my second line worked perfectly. I live in a big 3 level house by the way. I have decided to go wireless because it is less of a hassle and i dont have to rewire my phonejacks.

I've got a setup here using the old Diamond Generation 1 HomePNA cards. I did this whilst I'm home for the summer so that I could use the net while my brother was online (running AnalogX's proxy on his machine). It's not the T3 I just left in my dorm (though I get that back in under 3 weeks !!! :)), but it sure does help since he's always on AIM.

Actually, my parents gateway system come w/ a card that's a regular modem and a HPNA 2.0 modem. I just bought an extra Gateway HPNA modem off of ebay, so that I didn't have to deal w/ different cards. It's made by a company called BNC. I am also using Sygate to setup communication between the computers.
