YES, Finally I know the truth about 8RDA

I have been getting different answers about whether the 8RDA allows all mults to be used. I bought the board so I could find out for myself.
It allows 3.0-12.5 for lower clacked tbreds and 12.5-24 for higher clocked tbreds. At least with my rev of the BIOS.
Also, I was posting questions about the temps of the tbreds, and one or two people were saying there is no difference, since the smaller core makes it hotter.
Well, the tbred is running at 35c load on my HCC-002 @ 1.7vcore 166X12.5 and my paly runs 49C under load on my HHC-001 (one better than the HCC-002) @1.8vcore 172X10.5. That is a lot cooler. Getting a tbred b 1800 when they start shipping and gonna overclock that as far as I can.

will i be able to lower the multiplier on the XP2100 with that motherboard without messing with the L1 Bridge? I want to increase the FSB and lower my multiplier so I still run at the rated speed, but I don't wanna mess with my CPU due to warranty reasons

no, only tbreds, not palominos...

Did they ever decide if there was a PCI lock on the 8RDA? I know there is AGP, and I want this board. Also, what speed T-Breds have all multipliers?

the PCI lock is there from what I read..
also, they said from the TBreds tested in the board, all were able to be unlocked.
I have no idea where I read that, but I am sure I got it from 8dimensional

EPoX themselves have posted that the PCI bus always runs at 33MHz in their 8RDA+ FAQ (near the bottom).
