This last week has been good to the wife and me!

The wife got a job offer last week and I got an offer today for the job I've been crossing my fingers for since the end of last month. The offer was for $5k more than I asked for and about $15k more than I was expecting. To top it off I'll make $15 more per year than my wife, not that either of us cares who makes more. :D

Now I just need to get some language CD's for the 1+ hour drive to work every day...

The job title on the offer is "Computer Systems Security 4". I have no idea what that means! I'm basically going to build an Active Directory test lab environment with MS SharePoint, secure it, then assist a developer (or two) in setting up a portal using C#.

I live in northern Virginia. A recruiter saw my resume on one of the on-line job sites.

You make $15 more yearly than your wife ? How did you figure that? I've never known an employer to be that precise about salary figures.

My offer was for $.60 more per bi-weekly pay period. Weird, huh?
