Ok So I use speedfan to track my temps.

Currently I read

GPU 36c
System 37c
CPU 43c
Aux 32c
HD0 34
Core 39

Ive looked around but I cant find any reliable comments on what i should be running as temps. Those are all basically idle. When i Play games they jump dramatically. Ill play some games in a min and report back the temps. my current rig is in the sig so theres all the info you need.

Am i good or do i need to find a better solution? I have 2 fans one in on front one out on back. Very clean inside no clutter. And i clean my case fairly regular, plus this build is only a few months old.

For CPU temperatures, Core Temp is good. SpeedFan reads the same temperature info (from the more accurate temperature sensor on the CPU) but Core Temp is a bit nicer looking, easier to use and is just a better utility overall.
Same goes for GPU, I would use GPU-Z instead of SpeedFan.

As for your temperatures, the system I'm running right now is basically an HP e9120f in a different (cheap) case with a different motherboard. My CPU is a slower, lower TDP version of what you have and right now it's hovering between 31C-34C typing this post, 51C under load. (Prime 95) I don't know what sort of CPU cooler you've got but I've got the crappy stock one from HP and those are the numbers it's putting out. So I would reckon that your temps are a bit high, especially under load. I know your CPU is technically hotter but not by that much.

There's no "right" answer for "what should my temperatures be" since everyone's is going to be different...your ambient room temperature will be a HUGE controlling factor.

IMO, the only ones that matter are the MAXIMUM temperatures. You want to stay below the max temperature for your CPU and GPU. (and IIRC, they're all slightly different)

Normally, my CPU runs between 28 and 35C. On a warm day, if I don't have the AC cranked, it will rise to about 40C. (as I type this, it's about 75F in the room and the CPU temp is 33C, GPU temp is 31C.)

Since I built this back in December, my max temps during stress testing with Intel Burn Test were 68-69C after I overclocked the CPU.

ok cool. What would "high" be do you guys think? When my fans kick in they are pretty loud so i would like to be able to keep my fans to a minimum.

Unless you have a liquid cooling system, fans must be able to kick in. If that is too disturbing,consider playing background music. Or, do like I do - put your machine on the floor under the desk.

High temps are when your computer is unstable and starts doing weird things due to the temp. That, or you want to get a better overclock and your temps are in the 60s+ range for load.
