yeah a prototype of a possible Tablet that might come out in 5 months, maybe longer. TAKE that Apple!!! I'm sure they're shaking in their boots lol. SHIT if Apple doesn't do something they might only have a 6 million Tablet lead by the time the first Android Tablet hits the market. OH NOES!

Apple has already proven you don't need to run Flash to have a successful device. :D They're still selling iPhones at a higher rate than Android devices. And while Flash will obviously help Android out, Apple will still be on the top of them. Gonna take more than Flash to change the scene

Got a link to back up that claim? The last I heard, the Motorola Droid alone was outselling iPhone, let alone all of the other Android devices added into that equation. Android has already overtaken iPhone in the US when it comes to Internet usage so I find it a little hard to believe that iPhone is still outselling Android.

Look at the quarterly reports that just came out. Google said they are selling 60,000 android phones a day globally. Apple said that they sold 8.9 million last quarter, which comes out to about 99,000 a day.

The 60,000 a day number was mentioned before the Incredible came out and the Incredible has been selling out.

lol ok.

Let's say the Incredible is selling 20-25,000 a day...that would still be slightly less than the iphone. My point is that your claim about how "just the droid" is outselling iphones is absurd.

You're getting a bit ahead of yourself by putting down some completely random guess numbers and then saying "even with those added on, the iPhone is still selling more".

I didn't make any claims, I said I read something, huge difference. It's very easy to find plenty of articles via a quick Google search that say the Droid is or was at the time of writing outselling the iPhone. I half expect a reply saying those articles are fixed because they were found with a Google search.

I'm noticing a pattern with you guys, something about reading comprehension, making up stuff, hunting for any thread with the word Android in it and posting about how much better Apple is.

Also: Trying to imply that the Incredible's launch isn't really important and won't change much is rather silly. The Droid Incredible is the biggest and best Android phone to date launching on the largest cellphone carrier in the US with a huge advertising campaign. Pretending that sales numbers that don't include the Incredible are "good enough" would be just as bad as me taking sales numbers from before the iPhone 4 comes out and then trying to use them a couple weeks after the iPhone 4 comes out and saying see the iPhone isn't selling so well.

Dude, this is what you said:

I just pointed out that you are 100% incorrect. I hardly twisted words around.

I find that hard to believe because the last % I read IPADS alone were on the net more than Android devices

That only matters if you don't want to run Flash on your tablet, if you do, then Apple is out.

It's because the general public prefers a phone that tells them what they can do on their device and what they can have on their device. It's just how it goes. Most people are followers, not leaders. People want to have the cool devices and Apple products are considered cool to the general uninformed public. They don't know it doesn't have Flash or even what Flash is. There are millions of Apple users that want flash as well but don't want to change devices. Just like there are so many that hate AT&T but don't want to get rid of the iPhone. I always find it funny that because YOU guys say it doesn't matter, it means it doesn't matter to everyone when obviously, if it didn't matter, there wouldn't be any discussions about it at all and no one would care. You Apple guys live in this little closed bubble. What you guys think is right and don't even believe that there might be someone else thinking something different.

first off I'm not an Apple guy, I've never owned one of their computers. And right now I use a Windows Mobile phone. But that still doesn't change the fact it really doesn't matter. I know a girl who loves Farmville more than anything and hates AT&T's coverage. Guess what phone she has? Yep, an iPhone. To the people where it does matter to they go with a Pre or Android or WM device. But iPhones are still outselling the competition every quarter so the amount it actually matters to the average person is very slim. And to the people who don't know what Flash is, of course it doesn't matter. The majority of iPhone owners I know are definitely not Apple people as they don't own a single other Apple device.

i dont think "apple people" means what you think it means... you always tout the superiority of apple, regardless of the actual argument, which makes you "an apple people". if your friend that loves farmville had the chance to switch to verizon and play on an incredible, would that friend switch? or would they keep the iphone just because its an iphone?

Flash 10.1 is just now coming to phones. It's a bigger problem for tablets which are actually of form factor that is expected to render full versions of web pages, unlike mobile phones.

The worst is when someone tells another person that one is better than the other; and then that person believes it.

Personally, I can't go ahead and believe one is better than the other and quiet frankly I see most of the phones with data plans (without naming any) do the same thing. Each suck like the other one does and when the SoCs get better, then I'll be happy.

EDIT: wtf about battery life
