Of SNOW!!! 😀 😀 😀

Well, it was late in arriving, but it finally got to Pitt. We've already got more than six inches and they're saying it's not even halfway done! 😀 😀 😀

sweeet! 😀

Along with emergency services and road crews, I'm one of the only people that has to go to work no matter the weather. We've got 4 inches of snow and 2 inches of ice here. I can't tell where the road is outside, it's still sleeting, and I have to go to work in 3.5 hours...

It's cool though.
🙂

I hope not. You normal people are weird. 🙂 😛

Back home, I'd be out driving in this sort of weather. Driving in snow is great fun in the country, but here in the city there's just too much to hit.

ZV you're just now getting it?

I wonder if what you are getting now swings down my way and dumps more on us... (I'm in Altoona, we've got probably 7-8 inches already)

Nah, it's been snowing all afternoon, but I didn't notice it building up so much since I was in the laundromat. Didn't start snowing until mid-morning though, they were predicting it to start in mid-afternoon yesterday.

Here is eastern PA we are getting about 3/4" per hour. It's supposed to pick up to 1-2" per hour during the night. Snowfall total 12 to 18". I don't think I will be to work on time in the AM. I don't mind snow, but we've had enough, and I hate the salt and gray/black muck that is all over. It's depressing.

As far as I'm concerned, anything that maskes the ugliness inherent in cities, even for a short time, is worth it. I know that by tomorrow the snow will be all ugly grey slush, but right now I love it.
