Yep. Snails truly are immortal!

Immortality lies in that enigma: the snail.

See original thread. I haven't seen this snail in the last 4 months, and the last month there have been no fish in the tank because I had moved them to a new tank. In fact, the tank was only half full, and about 5 degrees above the recommended temp. I had even seen an empty snail shell last month so I assumed the snail was dead. Well, today I was about to empty the tank again, and THERE IT WAS.

All hail the immortal snail!!!

The empty shell means it was off on Vacation.

It's waiting until the day you sleep in and then it attacks...

Your next post will be about 'Murderous Snails'

WTF? The snail is gone again. I put him in a cup with some water from the old tank, and then floated the cup in the new tank to gradually equalize the temperature. Came back 15 minutes later and s/he was gone. I hope it's in the tank but I haven't seen it anywhere.

The incredible disappearing snail...

A little OT but when Snail's lay eggs...man do they lay eggs. I had a couple snails in a fish tank...soon they had taken over the fish tank..had to have a genocide.
