I'll never get it - they lambast the right, or American Taliban as they call them, while sucking ass on a group of individuals who would just as soon shoot them as look at them and shoot everyone they defend - gays, speech, women, minorities - it's god's law or else in these countries and libs are down with that rather than the individual and freedom. The sheer number of Democrats who blame Republicans for their inability to do something amazes me, and then they turn around and trumpet things they passed basically along party lines (ie, health care "reform").

BTW, modern day Yemen is a lot closer to the anarchy status of Somalia than you probably realise. But I'm not the least bit convinced US aid would help at all. Saudi money, intelligence services and military are the best solution, with the very quiet cooperation of the US.
