would you pay them any mind?

I'm trying to decide on where to buy my new car soon-ish (probably end of July, at this rate... I want to buy at the end of the month, but it's a bit too last minute to get motivated for June at this point and my car may or may not be on the verge of a tire blowout :\)... outside of available inventory, the best means of dealership shopping seemed to be online reviews. don't have any local recommendations from people I know, unfortunately, since I don't actually know anyone who drives a Subaru (my immediate family all drives Fords, and my friends all seem to have this weird thing for Kias)

I'm not sure how to take it when a particular dealership has great ratings on Edmunds, great ratings on Google Local, but then 1-2 stars on Yelp.

I had a relatively low pressure decent experience with Freehold Subaru last year that might be a bit of a ride for you.

As a former business owner, I would not give Yelp reviews much credence. Yelp's culture is such that they revel in posting negative reviews while posting a dearth of positive reviews. They called me trying to blackmail me into doing some advertising with them and when I called them out on their tactics, they made my business not show up at all.

Yea, I refuse to use Yelp for anything due to the shady mafia-like tactics they run.

"Nice business you got there, be a shame if someone 1 starred it..."

That's reviews in general. People are far more likely to talk about a bad experience than a good one. However that's not what I've seen on Yelp. Lots of mediocre ones that maybe businesses feel they deserve 5 stars for showing up...
