Yellow ribbons go on our cars when?

I remember putting yellow ribbons on cars for the gulf war. I would like to carry on that tradition for the next war, which should be real soon.

Can I put a yellow ribbon on my car yet or is too early? It is mainly to show support for our troops and my brother.

My brother threatened me to never sign up. He said they got one of us and didn't want me going in. I almost did.

brobably for the same reason I won't sign up for time millitary. I would be shot by my commanding officer for being an idiot.

Damn, some people are just in it for the ribbons.

How come I didn't see any yellow ribbons after 9/11?

I remember seeing them all over during the gulf war (when I was 10) but don't recall seeing any/many recently.

We are at war, correct? 😕

You're right, we are at war. I'm going to stop into the local craft shop and pickup some yellow ribbon. Someone has to show some support.

AROUND, HER HEAD, SHE WORE A YELLOW RIBBON!

SHE WORE IT IN THE SPRINGTIME, IN THE MERRY MONTH OF MAY!

AND IF, YOU ASK HER WHY THE HECK SHE WORE IT!

SHE'D SAY IT'S FOR THE SOLDIER WHO IS FAR FAR AWAY!

😛

If you think one minute that I just want some ribbon then you are a fool. My brother has been to the gulf at least 4 times in the past 18 years. His wife and two kids are at home right now worrying about him and all the other troops. I am glued to the tv because I don't know exactly where he is at, but he is there. I support out troops 100% and would like to show it. Have you ever lifted a finger to help our troops or are have you just played armchair quarterback?

If you couldn't see that for the obvious joke it was, You need to at least control your anger.
How dare you presume to know what sacrifices my family and
I have made for our country.

I'm sorry if I offended you. I didn't mean to. I have just seen too many people lately saying that they don't give a dam. I guess I didn't see it as a joke and I apologize. Thats the problem with internet. Sometimes its hard to tell when people are jerks or if they are just joking around. Peace.
