Yes, and I'm sure its not just a coincidence that its used here.

Er, its not weapons grade, its just uranium which can then be used in a variety of manners.

Great film. Baker Town fucked up by only sending 1 bomb. If they packed all the cakes with bombs they'd have lived free far into the future. Moral of the story? We need more bombs :^P :^D

It's an intermediate step in the purification process. It usually goes Uranium Ore --> Yellow Cake --->(Shipped to other places to be further purified)--->Fuel Rods, Weapons grade etc etc...
