Well, after completely screwing everything up in the CBOS on my Cisco, than screwing up the settings in the router, hours of confusion and being completely unable to access the web, and getting scared to death that I'd never get it working, outside web access now works to my server!:D

I feel like such a Geek Stud.:Q

Way to go Russ! We never doubted your ability. :)

By the way, you did have enough blocks in your proxy for your herd to crunch in that period of time did you? :D

Way to go, Russ! So how are the children? Does this mean we can visit them? You, know I have two that look *just* like yours! And they like the cuddle just the same.

HeHe, my pproxy is stocked with 10 days worth of chow.:D It even works from the outside!

This is so cool. My internal network gets served up IP addresses by DHCP from the Linksys router with NAT protecting it. The web server bypasses the router by using a switch plugged directly in to the Cisco 675 with the server as the only machine connected to the switch. Then a patch cable from the switch to the router to serve the internal.

As I accept my award, I'd like to thank Two for the hardware diagram, and Viper GTS for the Cisco settings.:D

Bwuahahahahahaha!!!!! I actually got a virtual server setup. The IP address now loads up tacube.com.:) Outside access to the site, including pproxy stats, working like a champ! Next step, crack this big fat book on DNS and BIND.

On another note, I'd like to thank Michael for all the tips and help he's been providing on security issues.:D:D:D
