This piece of shite actually raped and set on fire a fifty year old woman. Check out the happy ending here.

A quote from an official really illustrates how dense some people can be:
"It was unfortunate how it ended," Murray said.

Yeah, unfortunate that the asshole kicked off so quick.

Peace

While I agree that the guy got what he deserved, I don't believe comments like this,
Peachtree City Mayor Steve Brown called it a great day for his town.

"A victory against crime in metro Atlanta," he said. "We got the man and we're very pleased."
are appropriate comming from city officials. That just rubs me the wrong way.

Yeah, I know what you are saying, but the guy was probably speaking off the cuff. This was a particularly nasty crime and, I guess, he was compelled to say what he did based on emotion not logic.

Yep, I agree.

If they examine the body carefully, they'll likely find an impression of the Coweta deputy's boot in Reed's crotch and back of his neck... and rightly so!

good riddance. glad the sicko is out of the gene pool for good.

No Doudt. If I were the pursuing officer, I would make sure he was long gone before I called for an ambulance. This guy was no "common criminal" and doesn't deserve pity or the defense of anyone.

Lit on fire while video in cop car was running. Then sell it on PPV and give the proceeds to the poor lady.

Authorities said Reed instead stole his roommate's Acura Legend and fled. The roommate called the Coweta County Sheriff's Department, which figured Reed was the person Peachtree City officials were looking for.

Morale of the story: Check your prospective roommate's references thoroughly.

Hope Reed is still burning...in hell.
