This guy is a total immature prick. His dad gave him a huge sum of money (I thought at first it was ~$30k, now I found out it's more like $75k... (his grandmother is cashing in her 'death money' that pays for her funeral, and his dad is fronting about $55k) as a down payment on a house. He pays for nothing.. his dad bought him a car, pays his insurance and gas...., paid all of his bills while he was my roommate, etc...

Anyhow... he moved into his dad's new house today!!! GONE!!! (he still has to pay his half of the rent until dec 31...) which means I guess he can come back, I dunno... but I don't have to deal with him.. Ugh... time to drink and celebrate!!
 
Hopefully he'll wise up one of these days, though I doubt it.

I have no problem with people who are born into privileged situations. I just have a problem when they--as is the apparent case with your rommate--let it go to their heads. Yes, you do have to fault the parents to a certain extent, but by the time a person is an adult, they've had enough life experiences to teach them a thing or two about their position, and how fortunate they are.

i changed the locks..





he is paying his half of the rent but NO utilities... should I still allow him full access to the entire apt? (he has moved his stuff out)


he came over last night and was all upset because I thought he was a "spoiled brat"
