Well, I just got my new e6600 from my brother-in-law who got it from frys. 44G for those wondering. I payed $200 for it :). Ill post my OC in this thread later for anyone that is curious.

Now All I need is a motherboard, whacha all think, DS4?

(sorry if this angers you, but I'm really excited to change from a AMD 3200+ single core to a e6600 :D)

For a motherboard, DFI Infinity P965-s.
Even if you need to wait for it to return to stock for a while, DO IT.
My friend just got this board, his description was "sexually pleasing". He got 500 FSB on an Intel stock cooler. He also smoked the memory bandwidth score of his ASUS P5B Deluxe w/Teamgroup by using Patriot Extreme on this DFI... at lower frequency and same latencies.

I think because it just came out in the U.S., the one review from extreme computing (Or some website like that) said it was able to overclock to a 520 FSB on stock NB voltage, I was impressed.

I would trade my DS3 for a DS4 any day...but only if it also supports 1333FSB like my Rev. 3.3 DS3 does.
