Ouchers.

The first time my mom fired a gun it was a shotgun...my dad's 10gauge. Even though she'd been told MANY times to hold it tight against her shoulder just before she fired she pushed it out about two inches off her shoulder. The impact knocked her flat on her back where she promptly discharged the second barrel into the roof of the shooting hut.

My dad says it would have scared everyone in the place silly if they hadn't all been laughing so hard. She was horribly bruised over her whole chest, shoulder, arm, and even onto her back.

was she leaning back or just a bad camera angle? Seems all wrong when holding a powerful firearm.

Yeah....she was totally holding it wrong.

People who can't shoot guns make Baby Davy Crocket cry. :(

She was holding it wrong, if ya look right before she fires it the shotgun slips off her shoulder and hits the dude standing behind her then the scope rams her eye.

This is the one that always make me chuckle. Stupid people and guns. Not a good combination.......

I would assume that they can help when you're firing slugs. Don't know too much about firearms though.

That was my guess since I do know that in certain states you can only use shotguns to hunt deer. We get to kill the furry bastards from 500 yards down here.

I was sitting here with my hand over my eye as I knew exactly what was going to happen, blood and all. I made the mistake of firing a Weatherby 300 Magnum on the 300 yard range once and holing it like I do semi-auto military weapons. I don't actually grip the front stock but just rest it in my hand for better accuracy. I hit the bullseye but I also clipped my forehead with the scope. I never shoot scoped weapons so I never even thought about it until the blood was running down my face.

rednecks are stupid creatures.

All the prep in the video and stuff going on and no one was focused on the part of actually firing the gun.

brilliant. Probably fired down other's back yards.

Why didn't they tell her she was holding it wrong (it was obvious at the start of the video) and why did that guy go stand next to her? It looks like they wanted her to fuck up.
