The site has been shut down according to that story. Take a look at the story, it describes a couple of other "provocative" stickers that the site sold.

As to the topic at hand, this woman is an idiot, a bigot and a liar. Her site is up again and the selection seems to be a lot of anti-Obama items, truck-themed stickers, and, ironically, Christian stickers. Ah well - if there are enough morons buying this crap to keep her business afloat I guess it says more about her customer base than her.

What does the First Amendment have to do with this? The government has taken no action to shut her down.

I find it mystifying how many people seem to think that the concept of "free speech" means that you can't be criticized for saying stupid, obnoxious and/or bigoted things. Her stickers are undisputedly a form of free speech, as are the criticisms leveled at them. Personally if I saw someone with a "Don't Re-Nig in 2012" sticker on their car I'd think, and probably say, "What a racist asshole!" - that too would be a form of free speech. None of these are things that would ever be censored by any government entity.

Dude, I'm absolutely a liberal, but asking paraplegics to run hurdles would at the very least start funny. We'd all feel REALLY bad at how offensive we were being, but we'd have real trouble not laughing a bit at least. Sure, eventually the humor would disappear and we'd all just feel really bad, but we'd laugh a bit first.

That being said, I really can't believe that anyone in this thread is even remotely defending this bumper sticker as ok. And trying to deflect by citing something else offensive doesn't change the original thing from being wrong.

I commend anyone who doesn't like Obama but also recognizes this bumper sticker as wrong.
