But how do you get to CS Source? I thought it came with Half Life 2, but it isn't there DO I have to buy for $20 more?

I have CS 1.6, so is it worth buying source if I want to play it?

Yes.

If you're not a hardcore CS fan, you'll probably enjoy CS:S.

Nikamichi is right. If you haven't played very long, then you'll like CSS better (graphics, interface)

1.6 has better hitbox reg, and better overall game-play.

I would try both if I were you, switch back and forth.

Bah, I'd try TF2 before buying CS:S.

I didn't play CS:S for the past few years, and now that TF2 is installed, not sure why I ever would. TF2 is frickin' awesome... very very fun.


So, The Orange Box is pretty badass, especially for a mere $50. But even if you had to add CS:S, for $70 you are getting several very awesome games.
