Heh, I don't have it yet. I just ordered it. I can give a mini review when it comes

Far as price, just as listed. Yeah its big bucks, but I will do for a long time I think. I upgraded some things, but I didnt' spring for the FX 60. Even I have limits :D

Oddly enough it does have battery life, but that's because its a 12 cell job. Usually Im near an outlet, so its not that bad.

Oh, I went for the 4600 plus cpu

Have you seen one in person? I've still got a P4 version with the Go7800GTX that I need to return to NVIDIA, but they are huge. I would never consider owning one personally, defeats the purpose of having a notebook and the keybord is pretty crappy too.

So freakin huge.
It could barely fit in the backpack that I have from Tagus which is meant to hold up to 17" notebooks.

Looks about the same as a Dell XPS... except you can get a loaded XPS with coupons sometimes for under $2k with warranty (have to find deals). Sager version would end up being around 3500 I think.

I ended up going with a dell inspiron 9300 with wide screen high res, geforce 6800 instead, 60gb hdd, 2.0 pentium M, etc, for like $1300 after a $750 off coupon.

To each his own, Im a cheapass :(

I have seen them, and the keyboard was pretty good. Maybe a QC issue? Dunno.

Far as the weight, that matters not. I carry around a stuffed bag with a smaller Dell, but lots and lots of things in it. I put it down on a scale, and it tips almost 30 lbs. I just happen to be lucky enough that it doesn't bother me.

FYI I considered a 19 incher they are just making with SLi, but that was just too too
