I'm a jackass, I know. But when you segway from "My wife and I are splitting up," to "I've found someone new to live with", it doesnt exactly make you sound like a wonderful person.

i agree, you heading up is an excuse.

back to your question, at my school, pell grants are distributed by semesters, so once they are used for a semester, you cannot transfer it in the middle of a semester, i can transfer the next semester i believe.
 
What do you want us to do? We don't know anything about your wife... or your job... or anything.
 
I've never heard of someone transferring schools mid-semester. Usually there are deadlines for registering for classes only a few weeks into the semester. She'll probably have to wait a few months before transferring, although she'll want to get the process started early.

He's right you know. The very fact you made 'Doe''s gender ambigious implied to me that it was a she and you either already are, or want to hit it. It may not be the case, but I can't think of any other reason you would keep their gender out of the equation.

Actually its higher then that now. Some put it between the low to mid 60% range
