It's an ultra portable, so it doesn't have any drives, but I have an external harddrive to get the software on to it. I'm only using for study, and have my regular computer for gaming, so I thought this would fit my needs. I like the sleek look, it feels pretty sturdy the buttons have a very nice feel to them. But most of all I like the size, it's just so huggable 😀

The specs:
12.1" 1024*768@60Hz
1.4Ghz Pentium-M
ATi 350IGP
512Mb ram
40Gb hdd
1.6kg (~3lb)
Wireless PCMCIA 802.11b
Battery time 2.5-3 hours

The only bad thing ATM is that I've had some problems getting the internet connection working stable. I think I've solved it but future will tell.

No drives, huh? And the hard drive is external? That's not an ultraportable-- it's a pocket PC.

Seriously, though, HP has some of the worst customer support I've seen from a big company. I wish you the best of luck. I've had lots of direct experience with IBM, HP, Compaq from before the merger, and Dell, and HP's support is the worst of the bunch.
