The passenger door window, that is.

They have these cool nylon rivet / screw thingies that I used to replace the originals.

Yay. Saved $95.00 from the estimate at the glass shop, and got the window for $85. + tax from the wrecking yard. The glass shop wanted $185 .00 for the window.

Yay:cool:

 Cool

Been doing a lot of that lately, with help from a friend :)

*Temp sending unit
*Coolant temp sensor
*Fan switch
*Front struts
*Rear shocks
*Rear springs
*Front/rear swaybar bushings & endlinks
*Inner/outer passenger/driver side tie rods & adjusting sleeves

Along with some huge wiring messes and an ongoing cooling fan issue...

I was in the lab yesterday and one of the engineers was complaining about a microscope camera not working. She had reported it to maintenance, and they spent half a day trying to figure it out.

She called me a genius because I traced the problem back to the wall socket in about 30 seconds; it wasn't plugged in.

Uber maintenance skilz for me???

I have a DIY job under my belt too. Last night my brother's room... light bulb went out. Then we noticed the clock, computer, and radio also were non-functional. All plugged in to different outlets.

It was tough, but I managed to amble down the 17 steps to the first floor, open a door to the garage, unclasp the C/B panel access door and.... with a mighty summoned force of ungodly strength... flip the breaker back over. Whew! And there was much rejoicing.

thank you, thank you! I'd like to thank my family; my two cats; my truck; my bottle of beer and of course my king-sized comforter.

My next project will be to apply that nasty-toxic WD-40 to a squeaky outdoor gate hinge... while it's 30 degrees out!!! Oh no!!

I'd like to replace my shocks/struts, they're creaking like a mofo. I'd love to learn how to my own brake jobs, too. But I think I'll need the shop to replace my CV joint, that's a big job.
