Yesterday was the winter solstice and the beginning of winter.

But it was also the shortest day of the year, so until the middle of July, the days are getting longer!!!!!

TODAY is the winter solstice.

While it does fall on either 12/21 or 12/22 - this year it's 12/22 at 2:04AM EST.
