Its from Dell
E521 model
Athlon 64 X2 3800+ Dual Core
Vista Premium
1 gig ram
250 gig SATA
Basic Integrated video, but I have my own PCI-E card ready for it.

$550

I just need it for basic stuff, no serious video game playing. An Intel Based E4300 is about $100 more, Tax not included.

1 gig of RAM is not enough for Vista, unless you enjoy sluggish performance ;-)

2gigs would probably make sense (though it may be cheaper to drop the dell to 512 and order 2gigs separately).

The deal is 1gig with Free Vista Premium. 512 gives you Vista Basic

A little bit of exageration that Vista won't run fine on 1 gig of ram. I'm almost positive it would probably run fine on 512 if you were just doing basic browsing, internet work etc. 1 gig should be fine - you can always upgrade that later down the line as it becomes nessecary.
