Friends and coworkers call it the old man's car, but I feel it just makes sense.

2006 Subaru Legacy 2.5i wagon 5sp. Non-turbo with a 175hp engine. Plenty of torque to get around town and enough to tow my bike to the track while getting better gas mileage and only taking regular then the turbo versions.

After 6 years with a 93 Toyota Camry, it was passed on to my little sister as her first car and now I have this. wagon goodness

I love it. Manual transmission, a nifty little mpg display, a rear windshield wiper and plenty of storage space for when I buy furniture or whatever else. If I wanna go fast, I got this.

Yes, Myspace is ====> way, but I don't care.

EDIT: For linky goodness

EDIT2: For the record, otd price was about 21.5.

EDIT3: Links work now. Finally :D

Subarus are all over here in colorado, and they definitely are as practical as they come, but some can be quite nice. I prefer outback sports over legacys for sure as far as their wagons go

Its fixed. I think timestamps need seconds now to see who got the edit first in these situations.

Although you did do the initial quote first. :(

EDIT: krotchy: Yea, I'm in California so they're definitely not as popular around here. The outback is nice, but then I prefer the lower height of the legacy since I really don't go anywhere off road and prefer it for the freeway drives.

Yes... also tons of Volvo wagons. It's like wagon central there.

Tis true. I was going used, but in my family, cars are passed down until they blow up. Mom asked me to get a new one so that whenever I do decide to move on, the car can be passed on to one of my little sisters (no pics). She's paranoid that all used cars have been abused and you can't trust them. I paid a little premium just to give her piece of mind.
