First build, and system POSTed on first try when I benched it ouside the case 😀

Just managed to squeeze the motherboard into the case..now I see why peeps love the removeable MoBo Tray!!

Now for the HDD's

(and yes, its REALLY late here...er um I guess early... 🙂

I have a quastion..

Im about to put in the HDDs so I was about to set the jumpers....

I have two HDD one master one slave, but On the HDDs it says Master/Slave Jumper not required for SATA (which is what these drives are...).

What does this mean?

i wish i was that lucky on my first build 😀 It took me 2 weeks to figure out that one of my 512 sticks of PC2100 mushkin basic ram was bad. this was back in the day when i didnt know what to look for when troubleshooting...

just leave the jumpers alone. congrats and NICE rig!!

Nice rig, we think alike.

You'll need to run memory tests. Set your timings at 2336. 2326 won't work, neither will 2236. Must be 2336.

Go download memtest.org, make the floppy, and you'll also need to install and run Prime95 over night with the torture test.
