YAY: my car (a4 quattro) repairs are underway (YACT ... PICS)

Its all coming together ...yay. So far i've only gotten a new fender and clear headlight corners and fixed the dent bumper / straightened hood
.
Right now i have on the way:
s4 front bumper
drivers airbag
s4 HID headlights

and about to order a new steering wheel tomorrow. Plus as soon as i get the docking station for my lappy, ill be able to play with the ECU settings. YAY

So all i need would be passanger airbag, tails (that will wait for a while), maybe airbag controller and trunk lid.

Not bad at all, the car should be fixed for ~1 Grand which brings the price to 4500 🙂

yeah,
i bought the a4 because i needed a winter car. Im deciding which one to sell in the spring (likely both). Hopefully i can find a project TT z car somewhere around here

You do know that flot is selling his 300zx TT (91) in another thread? $7k I think and it's got 155k. Looks sharp though!

oh yeah i saw it, 7g is way too much for my purpose. Im looking for a project car (non working is fine) for about 3g max. Theres one guy close to me selling his na for 2 grand, but im not planning on getting anything till after i sell what i have right now.

My plan is to get a 2grand shell and 3 grand JDM front clip and do the TT swap over the summer. My cousin lives near me and he's got a huge barn/shop with airtools and pulley system 🙂

I just rebuilt the engine for my 1984 5000CD turbo. heh heh


well.. not quite rebuilt. got rid of the old one, pulled one from my uncle's wreckingyard, rebuilt the head, cleaned up the block a bit, but nothing special.
