I'm using the CCNA Study Guide by Richard Deal to study for my CCNA. It'll be my first certification ever. Just finished studying chapter 1 and taking awesome notes. So happy 🙂 Progress = :thumbsup:
 
Good luck with it. I got my ccna almost 4 years ago. I let it lapse last year because I never touched a router after I got certified. There just weren't any jobs available in my area. Now, I'm doing network and system administration.

Yeah, I'm not super-interested in networking, I know enough to do home LANs but that's about it. This is mostly for looking good on my resume and possibly getting me a college job in the IT field, perhaps in networking. Plus I get an A in my advanced networking class if I pass it 😉
 
the ex had 3 years to prepare for her ccna (books + class) and still didn't take the friggin exam, she must be the dumbest masters in IT evar........and one of the many reasons that led to the breakup...today is 6months observance
