Sister called me up. Her best friend had to bail on her so she asked me to go to Arizona with her on the 26th to see a bowl game with Cal (her alma mataer) vs. Virginia Tech.
I asked her what bowl it was and she said "The Insight Bowl." I was like wtf? checked online, sure enough, lame name is true. It will still be fun, but I haven't been to a bowl game since I was barely a teen at the Rose Bowl (USC vs. Washington if I remember correctly).
Are there any other lame bowl names? Like the Carquest Bowl?

I just got back from Phoenix, I would say I had a pretty nice time except for my annoying asss sister and all the desperate nerds hitting on her. I got to Phoenix yesterday about 4pm then I went to Jackson on 3rd where the Cal Alumni Assoc. was having pre-game and post-game parties. Got hammered. Quick. Watched the game yadda yadda...Then I go back to Jackson's after the game and got more hammered. During the post party, I was looking for Coach Tedford, and up walks Adam Duritz, the lead singer of Counting Crows. I knew he'd be around but I didn't expect to see him, kind of like he came out of the corner of my eye. Anyway, I say hello to him and talked about the game, then I said goodbye and got more hammered. Good times, maybe I'll try to post more details when I stop seeing double.
