Most people can modify theirs by standing on one leg while doing it. ;)

Can you rent and backup Wii games and burn them off to play on your wii? Or do you download the backups or what?

Could a complete solder noob do it?

Oh, which mod chip? Wiikey?

Cyclowiz

Prob. It was easier then my first even mod of a Playstation. All you need is a steady hand some steel wool and a nice iron. I had it place in about 45 seconds and it tested fine. Hardest part was pulling the Wii apart and putting it back together. I somehow ended up not using a screw somewhere... oh well...

You know that's gonna come back and haunt you one day.

I have a feeling I know where it goes and I don't feel it's a big deal. I just don't want to open the thing again. It was a screw that held the plastics to the DVDRom housing and there were 4 more screws on that piece about 1" from the one i missed in each direction.

Because of this ;)

Nah, basically jjst wanted to get my hands on anything that would allow me to get my originals into the closet so my son wouldn't mess with them. Pre-order for the Cyclowiz had a faster ETA on shipping then the WiiKey and that all that mattered to me. If I flash it bad in the future I'll just buy a new one.
