my dell 2005fpw should be here wednesday. hoping it comes earlier but i doubt it

just checked tracking info, its like 45 minutes from my house! it arrived there at 1:04. be nice if its there when i get home but i have a feeling i won't get it until tomorrow.

anyone know if ups delivers stuff that was received in the afternoon?

U could always drive to the UPS place...

Can't. He can only do that after one delivery attempt.

Usually if i call right after the tracking info shows they got it, i can get them to hold it for pickup if its late, though i do know the UPS people on like a first name basis.

Just got back from Staples. They have the Envision 191W for $239.94. I really like the looks of the widescreen. Is DVI really that big of a deal?

I know on my screen it make a hell of a difference as for the way it looks. Text and games look better and I dont have to wait as long for the screen to adjust. With VGA on my set (stated above reply) I have to wait a bit for the screen to adjust to the res change and sometimes its not quite perfect. With DVI I turn it on and its instant with no imperfections. I would go DVI for sure IMO.

...like asking if digital is really that much better than analog...

Ask that of the audiophile purists. 😉 Seriously, I was just wondering if I would notice a difference. Other than you basic websurfing, office apps, some graphic design, and watching DVD's, I don't game so...
