60 question instrument written test coming up on Saturday, I'm using a dvd course to study from since I got bored just reading the books (King course if anyone cares). Does it scare you to know that you can pass with a 70%? Do you want to fly with a C-student pilot in the clouds? ;)

11/13 update

I took the real test today and got a perfect score :) 60 out of 60. take that FAA with your trick questions!!! the examiner was impressed, he said they rarely see 100's.

It's not that hard to work the controls. You don't *need* a crapload of dials to fly. They help.

Look up Skyking on the forums and ask him some questions. If Kelly's still around, he's a very cool guy. Lives in Seattle.

when you have no outside visual references you'll be thankful for every instrument in your cockpit ;)

Thats pretty scary, but considering the amount of plane crashes a year I am not too worried about it.

AOPA flight training site
more articles

my dvd course wouldn't do you much good, you have to get your private pilot license before you need to worry about instrument training. btw Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 has a pretty good set of training lessons.

We are very different animals, you and I.

It takes a 93% to make you happy.
It only takes a non-dive non-200mph landing to please me.
