I just got call from efficient networks quality assurance manager after sending e-mail to their corporate office and submitting complaints to FCC and BBB. He apologized for tech support lame response and said he will arrange president of support give me ya call at around 3pm and help me make my devices work in wep. linsys, dlink, sms support their products why should these guys. If anyone got those products having problems PM me I have his direct number. He called me not because of FCC or BBB but because of e-mail sent to corporate office not their support e-mail.

I'm astonished they could even intrepret and understand your ranting & raving rabies infested complaints 😛

I suck at networking, but I set it up without a hitch. It works but not in secured way its their problem to help me, instead of telling to keep unplugging power supply after holding for 2hours
 
Another dissapoitment, dude called me said he needs to go the lab to play around cause their policy is not to support WEP but since he has several notes and e-mails regarding my issue he will make an exception. I think all of their tech people have same knoweledge

Those of using xp uncheck the box that says let xp configure wireless network ( manual said to check it)

if u turn wep on go to SpeedStream Lan utility where it says encryption put same passphrase as you put on the router and boom works

Dear Mr. Nolen,

I'm writing to make you aware of a problem I had with the safety of a Siemens
Info & Comm Netwrk Inc product. This incident has left me extremely upset with
your product. For your reference, my model name is Router 2624.

Here's my problem: I purchased Siemens router 2624 and wireless USB adaptor.
They only work when WEP is off and mac filtering is off. Technical support
refuses to provide support. That means my wireless network is open to
everybody and my data is not encrypted. I am gonna contact FCC if I dont
get assistance from SpeedStream

Here's what I would like you to do: Trouble ticket# 3428 I want Technical
Support agent assist me of getting your wireless products to work in wep mode
that your product suppose to support.

Overall I would have to say I am very unhappy with your company. In the future,
I will never again do business with you. Also, I'll tell others to avoid your
company.
