I went to Maui on vacation about ten years ago. If I ever hit the lotto I am moving there. :)

i just went to maui two weeks ago, i sooo didnt want to leave, all my problems disappeared there. you'll have a blast, but i think you're going to have some trouble driving to certain places in a VW Camper

thats cool then, some things that i really liked in Maui

Molokini Island - a short boat trip to the island, its one of the best snorkeling/scuba diving places, about 150-180 ft visability, i almost pissed my pants when i saw a 5 foot long reefshark though, saw a ton of whales on the boat trip as well, its whale season right now

check out riding a bicycle down the volcano, i did it throught a company, they took us up around 3 in the morning, watched the sunset then started down the mountain (38 mile ride) stopped at some small place for a damn good breakfast and rode all the way down to the beach, it was awesome

lots more too do, make sure you eat some pineapple, mmmm

Heh I think it was either the silversword or the kula lodge. My bus stop was right next to those restraunts, and I would see all the bikers stopping to eat there.

I just went to maui last summer and my god it was beautiful. I will be planning future trips there and if possible wouldn't mind setteling down there.

Just came back from Oahu one week ago.

That was my 7th visit to Hawaii and going back again in the summer :)

Förutom det fina vår vädret då förstås..-1 och snö på vägarna :Q, jag som alla andra trodde att vi rörde oss mot sommaren men icke sa nicke.. nåja så farligt är det väll inte, men lite lurad vart man nog ändå :) Dem säger att sommaren ska bli kanon vi får se...vi ska boka in Brazilen 2 veckor 'bara-ut-i-fall' så att säga :D
Kul att det finns svenskar ombord, jag är ganska ny här, men så finns Sunner och SnapIT också vad jag vet .

I was just in Kuaui and Honolulu back in January. It was my second visit (though first time I went to Mauii and Honolulu). As other people in this thread said ... your problems just melt away when you're there. It could quite possibly be the most beautiful place I've ever been in my life. I hope you have a blast (I'm sure you will).
