11k more than what I've been getting. It also helps that my company did 140% of their target earnings for this quarter. This does not include my bonus for the quarter as that'll come in November.
Working at a sweet company rocks. People are professional and no politics. Free massages, breakfast, treats and bonuses.

BTW, if someone has experience programming in c/c++ and is willing to relocate to SF, there are some positions for Sales Engineering at my company. Attractive compensation and perks not to mention working with some of the smartest people in the industry.

wait, living in the BA means you're poor right? at least that's true in my case :)

I guess I'm okay since I don't have a family. I bet I'd be poorer if I did. I think that to live comfortably with 2 cars and a nice house and 2 kids, your household income should be at least 250k here which I'm nowhere near.

nice work OP! If I didn't just take a sales engineering position in Boston (for a nice raise like you) I would be interested.
