YAY for rodent....

The story starts w/ me driving around to warm up my oil... about to do an oil change. I get on my ramps, pop the hood. Lift it.. and boom.. out of the corner of my eye, a mouse crawls down the side of my car, and continues into the engine bay.

I don't know if it left or not between the times i went in and out of the house.. but yup, he was chillin in my engine bay. I found where too.. right in my engine cover (mazda3). I noticed some frayed material by my oil cap.. and lifted it up to see it was torn up a bit.. all perfect for a nice warm winter home for mr. mouse.

Just one of those things I have heard here and there, mostly about cats... but never thought it'd come across my door.

anyone else have a story?

More common then you may think and are the source of numerous electrical headaches (chewed wiring insulation). Kill it before its too late.

I'm somewhat afraid of that. I have no idea how to get him out. I'm not sure if any of my "spirited" driving got him goin or not.

Spirited driving my ass.

With my driving he wouldn't get in the car.

We went to the garage to start our car ~ 2 years ago and the car wouldn't crank. Called the towing company, and they called back 2 hrs laters saying they found a dead mouse that had chewed through the electrical wires in the engine bay, and apparently got itself killed :Q
