What is this... week 4? I have midterms already. Damn the 3 midterm class I have. Everything else is a 2MT class so those wont hit till 2 weeks or so.
Well what's covered? Besides intro to x-rays, we're doing crystallography. I guess it should be review and some of it is, but since I never really did that well in crystallography this should be a chance learn/get it right. I remember getting a 31/100 on my crystallography exam 2 years ago. Uh oh. I better study for tomorrow then. Yay for staring at stereographic projections and trying to draw traces and identify poles and perform rotation operations.
If anyone's materials engineering, yay for you too. I hate how EE people get to skip out of all this. They're like what... BCC? FCC lattice? Yes your damn Si crystal is a diamond cubic crystal. At least all other engineers have to take some basics in crystallography.
