Yay for Dell!

Why give the jobs to Americans when other countries will glady accept employment. They need the work and money as much as the average American, but Americans will b*tch and whine about low-pay blah blah list goes on.

QFT! Give me something I haven't worked for or don't deserve! I'm entitled to it!

It is part of the nature of a global market. Our economy is becoming increasingly tied to foreign economies and as they do well, so do we. America may hurt in the short run, but over a short period of time new companies will arise to take advantage of the globalization. It is only a matter of time before you see Made in Costa Rica, Made in Poland, Made in South Africa more and more. It's stupid not to globalize otherwise an economy will stagnate.

But the fact is that the number of people in India (and including other rising labor nations) earning higher education is increasing. In Syracuse University, the majority of the graduate students are either from China or India and Pakistan.

But there is one thing you can't outsource... and that's pulling an Enron or WorldComm as well as an American

If you actually believe that all the great american jobs are being outsourced then you probably also believe that immigrants are taking all the other jobs that you'd rather be doing... And I would then ask you if your intelligence has been outsourced.

Good thing I don't buy Dell.

I guess its ok if they're building machines for the Indian market, but somehow, I doubt its just for the Indian market.

I predict in 15 years, I still will only see "MADE IN CHINA", "MADE IN CHINA", "MADE IN CHINA", "MADE IN CHINA", "MADE IN CHINA", "MADE IN CHINA", "MADE IN CHINA", "MADE IN CHINA", "MADE IN CHINA", "MADE IN CHINA", "MADE IN CHINA", "MADE IN CHINA", "MADE IN CHINA", "MADE IN CHINA", "MADE IN CHINA", "MADE IN CHINA", "MADE IN CHINA", "MADE IN CHINA", "MADE IN CHINA", "MADE IN CHINA", "MADE IN CHINA", "MADE IN CHINA", "MADE IN CHINA", and "MADE IN CHINA".

Well i guess what i experienced is reverse outsourcing, i used to work for a company in India who decided to move to UK, I loved the job, had been working there for 8 months and every quarter i was rated as "exceeds expectations" and guess what? they didn't move me and you know why? because they wanted to maintain "racial balance" i had become redundant and quit but rather than crib and whine about it i started my own business learnt from the experience and am doing much better now than i would have if i had moved to UK so quit whining it's when you have to fight for your job that you actually work your butt off to improve.
