yay, finally got my new pc! :p

Ok guys, i finally got my new pc today, everything installed fine, way better then my old pc..

but i'm wondering, every now and then while i am doing 2 things at once, like using bit comet and ares, etc, my pc starts to lock up, and everything loads very slow, it wouldnt even turn off. any ideas?

also, i was getting pop ups saying some crap like urgent, windows registry(sp) is corrupted, go to this site right now and fix it, blah blah, it was a site like winregfix.com or some crap.

so stupid me did it, it scans, finds errors, but when i click fix it says register! so i uninstalled them.

any way to fix this? free cleaner programs maybe?

i installed all the drivers right (took a while, lol)

Do you have anything important on your computer? If I were you I'd just back up the stuff I need and reformat the HDD and put in a fresh install of winXP.

reformat again? lol i just installed this windows like, 2 hours ago 😵

but i was having problems with this windows, i may have to get a new one, now, my power supply is 20pin, and the motherboard is 24 pin, i was told for now thats fine, could that be it? because when the pc locks up i cant even turn it off.

Go here to get it. It cleans out the registry, mainly, and does a bit other stuff.
